The Laidlaw Youth Action Fund is currently supporting the Creative ACE (Arts-based Civic Engagement) Project, bringing arts programming to youth with lived experience at a local Alternative Secondary Program in North Bay, Ontario.
Grants received between 2017 and 2019 went towards participation and video production for the Manitoulin Island Summer Historical Institute (MISHI) conference at the Ojibwe Cultural Foundation (June of 2018, August of 2019), and towards digitization of artworks for the Inuit Artist Database (IAD) and the Great Lakes Research Alliance for the Study of Aboriginal Arts and Culture Knowledge Sharing System (GKS).
